LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born December 30, 1984) was an American professional basketball player with the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is known for his role as King James and is considered to be one of the best basketball players ever. James has won four NBA championships four NBA MVP award Four NBA Finals MVP awards three All-Star MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals. James is the holder of having the top amount of points scored during the post-season, second best total career point total and seventh highest number of career assists. James has 18 NBA All-Stars, 18 All-NBA Teams and Five NBA All-Defensive First Team selections. James was the third player to compete in NBA Finals. Eight of these were consecutive between the year 2011 until 2018. In 2021, James was named to be part of the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022, he became the very first player in NBA history to rack up 10,000 or more career points in rebounds and assists. James played basketball at St. Vincent St. Mary High School, in Akron Ohio. The national media celebrated him as an NBA superstar. He was a prep-to pro and was selected as the highest pick from the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Draft of 2003. He was named the 2004 NBA Rookie of Year He quickly established himself as one of the top league players, winning his NBA MVP Award in 2010 and 2009. James was not able to secure a title with Cleveland and then left Cleveland as a "free agent" in 2010. The move was revealed by the television show The Decision.
