Robyn Rihanna - also known as Rihanna - is an Barbadian pop singer, songwriter and musician. She has had hits such as Pon de Replay, SOS umbrella, Take a Bow. She's a hugely popular performer who has sold over 41 million albums around the world and over 150 million songs. Born in Barbados and grew up with reggae. When she began to sing, she became an accomplished singer. Her discontent was caused by the chaos within her home and the constant disagreements between her parents. So she began to immerse herself into music. At the age of 16 she formed a band of musicians and got the chance to meet producer Evan Rodgers. He was impressed with her talent. Rihanna moved to New York to start a professional singing career full-time. The debut album of Rihanna quickly became a hit and she was hailed as an international sensation. Her uplifting songs became top of the charts among teenagers and enticed her to make films. She's a young, talented woman who has become her own style icon as well as a teenager icon. Rihanna is also actively involved in donating to charities and making use of her fame.
