Anita Barone

Barone played Gail Cunningham (a chef) in The Shoes of Seinfeld, the episode from season 4. She was in Elaine Benes' shoes. Barone was also a part-time cast member on Carol & Company, starring as Carol Burnett in the early 90s. Barone was the ex-wife of Carol Willick Ross Geller on the show's first Friends appearance. Jane Sibbett, who replaced Barone after leaving the show because she wanted to be a part-time character with a bigger character, was her replacement. She was on The Jeff Foxworthy Show for the initial season (1995-1996) and in The War at Home between 2005 until the year 2007. Barone co-starred alongside Daddio in 2000. The credits on her television show include Desperate Women Curb Your Enthusiasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline and the City Party of Five The Larry Sanders Show. Barone's work on the film One Last Ride earned her the Best Supporting Actress Award at the Methodfest in 2005. Barone was cast as the mother of Bella Thorne and CeCe Jones in the year 2010 - just three years following The War at Home concluded the film's run. Matthew Glave played J.J. Jones, the former husband of Barone's character in two episodes.
