The Garena's Garena Premier League (GPL) began in the month of May. It's a professional online gaming tournament that runs for 6 months and features over 100 games. The GPL's inaugural season will be the first online League of Legends tournament with six teams of professional players. They are comprised of top players from their countries. It is designed to encourage participation in those who are underrepresented, and is accessible to all who identify as a female. Garena hosts offline events for members who wish to meet and connect.
